1985 draft--Dave DeBuscherre slams his fist on the table--my lifelong highlight as a Knicks fan--not true — here are some

I was at the OJ Simpson game — thank god — I would have done god knows what to the TV if I were home or in a bar

Starks dunks over what seemed like the entire Bulls team

Larry Johnson 4-point play — we deserved a break

In those days I had season tickets — I watched so many games from my seats that the second the ball left Starks’ hand for a 3-pointer I knew with 95% accuracy make or miss

DEFENSE — -DEFENSE — -DEFENSE

Low lights — the Reggie Miller absurdity

Ewing missing the finger roll in the 1993 Conference Final

I was in my seats for all of the above, except the draft of course, for that this transplanted New Yorker was in his best-friend-from-Providence’s living room

Providence highlights were watching Bernard King

1994 game 7 final — watching at Dorrian’s Red Hand — Starks raises up and shoots and misses — the image of Ewing open under the basket seared in my memory — OH WHAT COULD HAVE AND SHOULD HAVE BEEN :(
