A couple of days ago I published my first essay in over three months (https://marcus17043.medium.com/are-you-living-or-merely-existing-614f982432a5 )in response to a writing prompt to share thoughts on an Oscar Wilde quote--"To live is the rarest thing in the world. Most people exist, that is all." One of my thoughts was "I shall now turn a phrase from Descartes — I think therefore I live. Those who act only on reflex and instinct merely exist."

Incidentally, that thought of mine flowed directly from my having quoted a passage of yours from your Buddhism Is Wrong essay.
