A previous version of me, the agnostic, would have wanted to know how/why astrology can work. I think at one point I had a thought that it somehow had to do with gravity. The new post spiritually awakened me couldn't care less about an explanation. I just know that at least with regard to my natal chart, it speaks volumes about aspects of my personality. Moreover, a Medium writer with whom you are very familiar gave me his impressions of my natal chart from an Evolutionary Astrology perspective and it seemed spot on with what I seem to have incarnated this go round to experience and hopefully learn. All that being said does mean that I agree that all is choreographed. Astrology indicates currents but that does not negate free will. Some currents may be too strong to swim against like a rip tide but others free will can overcome. I distinguish fate and destiny. Fate=soul contracts=astrology while free will combined with those = destiny.

Free will trumps all but one aspect of fate (date of death), and thus we do shape our own destinies, but swimming against some currents takes so much effort that it's exhausting and each individual has to decide for themselves when enough is enough and stop battling and go with the flow.
