After my spiritual awakening, when no one that I knew before understood me, I was often alone on an island in a sea of humanity. Then I found Medium and I am no longer alone even though I have not and may never meet any of the tons of friends I have made on this platform in real life. Lucky for me I'm an introvert and don't really give a shit. My 15 yr old son is starting to understand me. Or at least accept me. That is good. Because I never fit the mold before and I sure as hell am not going to die trying again.
