and not every husband plans ahead to look poor for the divorce...as I was accused of...and ended up filing Chapter 7...and spent a year litigating whether I could be thrown in debtors prison for not being able to afford the $30,000 a month temporary support order when I legitimately had about $5,000 a month of income...at the end of the day it was ruled the automatic stay did not save me from contempt but the year bought me the time I needed to get my head in order and start to work out a reasonable temporary support settlement...and I didn't have a sympathetic and understanding trustee, not a good mix with my not sympathetic and understanding uncle and cousin, who spent 5 years litigating with him over the value of my small partnership interests, and the only people who made out were the trustee's lawyers who got 80% of the 1.3 million dollar settlement. It's not the lawyers' fault. It was uncle's and cousin's fault
