As Douglas wrote, "Everyone is a unique individual with a unique set of experiences and perspectives. Johann Gottlieb Fichte — one of the first to rebel against the ancient dogma of determinism, was correct that everyone, because they experience and respond to their experiences differently, creates their own realities. As later philosophers clarified, those realities affect how the individual person perceives the greater independent reality but does not alter that larger reality."
