As you can glean from my highlighting, much of what you wrote resonated with me and has great messages/advice. Your title is clever as it does not immediately connect with your content, though after reading is very appropriate. When I saw it I immediately thought of the song by The Verve with the same title (https://youtu.be/ToQ0n3itoII ) and was curious to read what you had to say.

I can tell from your essay that you, paraphrasing the words of Oscar Wilde, are one of the rare people who truly live rather than just exist. I wrote this essay earlier this week (https://marcus17043.medium.com/are-you-living-or-merely-existing-614f982432a5 ) on my reaction to the actual quote ("To live is the rarest thing in the world. Most people exist, that is all.")

The concept of life not being fair or unfair is one that I have tried to convey in a few of my essays. Here's one short one and one longer one, if it pleases you or your readers to read them. 1) https://medium.com/p/c252486bcad8 titled Who Decides What is Fair? Perhaps it isn't that life isn’t fair to some and too fair to others — rather, life just is? 2) https://medium.com/p/3a94e696510 titled On the Matters of “Life is Fair,” Free Will, Divine Intervention, Personal Responsibility for Societal Change
