Back in 2020 when I used to engage on Twitter and found a couple of accounts worth engaging with, one of them posted about leadership:
"Your goal should never be to inspire, your goal should be to educate. When you try to inspire you're likely to sound scripted and hide away the "flawed" parts of your life to appear "inspiring" but when you aim to educate, you're forced to be real and transparent and that's useful."
I replied: "generally, yes. But a leader must inspire not by teaching, which could come across as condescending, but by beliefs"
Too many of today's leaders have no belief system. They just want to get elected and they do so by playing upon fears and by separation rather than unity. They don't want to govern. They just want to rule.
