Citing is not enough. The image must be free of someone else's copyright or you must have permission to use it. For example, far far far too many people think they can screen capture an image from a news site and if they credit the cite or the photographer, then it can be used. That is false. Same goes for taking images off of Facebook, etc. and using them in a story. It's not ok.
