Later, an Israel NGO purchased the land and most of the tenants left on their own accord, but four families remained and refused to pay rent for years. The result was multiple court cases around property disputes, which they lost, building up to the events that have happened over the past week, which Palestinian leaders have weaponized to incite riots.
It's disgusting.
