For a brief time I called myself a syncretist. Then I revised that to rather than borrowing from many to create a belief system, I form my own belief system, which of course can morph over time, and I simply recognize when I see beliefs in various isms that comport with my own. I see you engaging in that same process of recognition through your essays and many readers do not understand the nuance.
