Great poem my friend and I understand your fears. I'm too tired to respond with a poem of my own.
I understand there is nothing I can say to persuade anyone that reincarnation is real. Even if reincarnation did not exist my belief in heaven would be enough that my opinions on dealing with Putin would not change. Actually, even if there is nothingness after life, what would be the harm in everyone dying from WW3? Everyone dies at some point and if there is nothing afterwards, what difference would it make when we die?
With respect to only accepting what science has proven, how often has science "proven" scientific theory been subsequently proved wrong? Especially in medicine.
Frankly, I wish science would stop trying to prove or disprove consciousness, life after death, reincarnation, and God. Here is one of many many quotes from Neale Donald Walsch that resonates with me:
"Do not waste the precious moments of this, your present reality, seeking to unveil all of life's secrets. Those secrets are a secret for a reason. Grant your God the benefit of the doubt. Use your NOW moment for the Highest Purpose- the creation and the expression of WHO YOU REALLY ARE. Decide who you are- who you want to be-and then do everything in your power to be that.
It is not nearly so important how well a message is received as how well it is sent. You cannot take responsibility for how well another accepts your truth; you can only ensure how well it is communicated. And by how well, I don't mean merely how clearly; I mean how lovingly, how compassionately, how sensitively, how courageously, and how completely."
Another open minded person such as yourself who does not believe and also does not not believe, asked me how I state as fact that reincarnation is real and that this is my 17,043rd human life. I wrote this following story to answer him. I think this story reflects the second paragraph of the quote (when you read, you'll note the significance of todays date (March 19th) for me and perhaps will understand why I'm too tired to craft a poem)(I'm off to read your other story from today and then hopefully I'll nap or sleep deeply) https://medium.com/about-me-stories/my-journey-spiritual-and-otherwise-9d5f6aca18ee
