Have you come across Graham Pemberton? You might find much or all of his writing interesting, and I urge you to peruse his profile and see where synchronicity takes you--here I direct you to one piece I thought of reading yours: https://graham-pemberton.medium.com/all-humans-are-naturally-religious-1fc471d25747

Now let's get to evolution and materialism. Have you come across any articles by Gavin Sher? He doesn't write often but when he does, they are gems. As described in my https://medium.com/write-under-the-moon/conversational-musings-of-verse-and-prose-on-divine-design-80a50ade043b, which I think you'll enjoy, which is a hypothetical conversation a father has with his son, "...Son, you asked me to explain why science class teaches x, and your clergy preaches y. Now chew and swallow with your mouth closed while I tell you why it’s z....", which I wrote to bring more eyes to Gavin's under-read and misunderstood, https://medium.com/illumination-curated/the-darwinian-delusion-907c1b531d05, subtitled "Dashing Dogmatic Materialism."

In the discussion section of my piece, I said this about Gavin's: "The inspiration to write this whatever it is ignited after reading Gavin Sher’s simple and perspicacious takedown of the materialist view that life on Earth originated and evolved from a perfect storm of accidents in our lucky-to-live-in of an infinite number of realities in the multiverse. Some responders misunderstood Gavin’s story. Gavin respects science. He knows life evolves through genetic mutation as the mechanism — not the cause. Gavin carefully and convincingly takes issue with “evolution by accident,” pointing out the absurd number of factors that had to accidentally play out perfectly for any life, let alone human life, to arise on Earth."

My conversation with the child includes this from the father:

"Scientists often lack proof of their truth.

Yet unlike Teddy Roosevelt they speak loudly and

bludgeon with weak sticks and when broken

hide their shrunken cold water balls and dicks between their legs and rationalize."

Lastly, I'll leave you with a link to what some consider my finest essay: "Ménage à Trois Between Science, Spirituality and Philosophy

They should have a permanent and mutually satisfying interdependent polyamorous relationship" https://medium.com/p/a634f5446364
