The (square root of 2) * 2 being equal to the (square root of 2)^3 is not crazy. It's not fallacious at all. Why does he think the square root of 2 * 2 should not also equal 1.4*1.4*1.4 (I rounded those)? He's just sounds like he be tripping and an ass.
