WITH WRITING TIPS AND A LESSON ON MEANINGFUL ENGAGEMENT ON MEDIUM TOSSED INTO MY CHICKEN SOUP FOR THE SOUL
That story of mine relates very well to yours here, particularly my discussion of the most life-lesson-packed 109 words ever written--the famous "Acceptance is the answer" passage from the Big Book of AA. AA doesn't work as well as it believes for the substance abuser, yet the teachings of AA should be required reading in every high school in the world, because certainly, everyone can use a good dose of spirituality. That passage contains the power of the serenity prayer and the message of living life on life's terms, which gives new meaning to the phrase "it is what it is."
