How much to disengage for self care while not falling into the abyss of ignorance, and how to make a difference, even if just a ripple, hoping it will spread. These are questions/answers and balance that one must ask of and answer for themselves. I quoted this Somerset Maugham passage from The Razor's Edge in my last post.
