I agree. It's resentment, not not forgiving, that that phrase accurately describes and it seems from the totality of what you have written that you do not resent. That you have let go of that energy.

I also agree with you about fake mediums and spiritual narcissists. Lucky for me I have worked with a wonderful medium for many years. Any medium who tells anyone that there is a way to break a soul contract drinks new age kool-aid and doesn't know what they are talking about.

As far as whether traumas are planned or free will run amok, I think that in many cases they are not planned by our souls and in some cases they are BUT in any event it is certainly gaslighting to minimize someones pain and just tell them to get over it. And in some cases, the planned or not planned falls in between those two poles. The soul might have agreed to experience a certain general type of traumtic feeling and the actual trauma endured was not necessarily planned and could be considered worse than what the authors of the improv scripts (my term for soul contracts) had in mind.

As for what you said about karma, I have come to believe that it is never a tit for tat. The best description I have read of karma is:

"we do not agree with karma meaning you have to ‘pay’ for what you did in another lifetime. That is a very human perception, of life being a court system meting out reward and punishment. Karma is a vibrational level that draws the experiences needed for healing and growth to a soul. Nothing more."

I read that in DL Nemeril's https://medium.com/spirit-alchemy/your-soul-knows-why-youre-here-fab15a32045f, which your earlier piece on the question of whether traumas are planned, partially inspired. After reading DL's piece and your earlier piece, I posted https://medium.com/channspirations/revisiting-karma-and-the-law-of-attraction-997965601b65. I have always railed against LoA for many reasons including its victim shamig/blaming aspects and I cited your earlier piece in mine and asked my readers to read it.
