I agree with everything you said in this article up to this point and even these highlighted words I'm not sure I disagree with, or maybe I'm just afraid to or maybe I'm taking them out of context, but, where does this passage lead? Where does it end? Are we not to use the word woman? Are we not to use the word man? Is it impossible to refer to someone as a man or a woman without the speaker being accused of bringing societal gender constructs along with the words? Are there no differences at all between the sexes that can be acknowledged with these simple words that should not be imflammatory? Am I suppoded to refer to someone as an individual who was born with a penis or an individual who was born with a vagina? Even as I type this, I'm uncomfortable with what i'm saying as I can see that it would be better if every human were just referred to as an individual or a person. A woman (did I just objectify her?) who I think very highly of wrote an essay that's worth reading. I note that there is one thing she said in the last paragraph that upset me greatly and I took ker to task for it publically, but it shouldn't distract from many of the points she makes. https://henyadrescher.medium.com/women-of-the-world-beware-of-being-erased-6ce7716c76ef
