I agree with most of what you say in the essay but I think your subtitle is absolute horseshit. Some do not have morals for sure but most lack the emotional and spiritual intelliegence to practice discernment. Existential threat to our not democatic democracy, yes. Moral failing, no. You go too far and that is not the way to reach them, if there is a way.
