I agree with one caveat. I have learned that excitement can lead me to make not the best decisions if I act too quickly. I have been appropriately cautioned to practice discernment over resonance. If the excitement lasts while I sit with the decision long enough to make sure it's not just an emotional reaction as opposed to an unadulterated feeling, then that is a good direction for me to take.
I couple of years ago I responded to the prompt "The keys to discovering the answers you seek" with this tanka:
"Transformative signs
Spiritual decoding
Impulse resonates
Discernment confirmation
Alignment defeats bias"
My thoughts behind the poem are here: https://medium.com/know-thyself-heal-thyself/your-soul-is-the-whole-world-7a149c7602ad The subtitle is "Two tanka poems evoking that quote from Siddhartha by my favorite and most life-influencing author, Hermann Hesse"
That emotions differ from feelings and that the heart is the broadcaster and receiver of feelings, is a concept I read recently in this White Feather piece: https://medium.com/grab-a-slice/we-are-broadcasters-35b357da93ad
