I didn't want a tattoo till I was almost 55 in 2021. I go two within about 6 months and I absolutely love them. The first is an exact replica of the Claddagh ring my dearly departed lover gave me a few months before her unexpected passing. The tattoo is done as a bracelet with her names forming the chain. So glad I got it, especially after I lost the ring in September. https://medium.com/write-under-the-moon/lost-and-found-a7e8c980ce65

The second is a hummingbird, full of vibrant colors. People randomly compliment me on it. There's a picture here. https://medium.com/write-under-the-moon/ephemerally-enlightened-846e3cae7b48

I've been toying with an idea for a third. It would be very complex and I'm waiting for if and when the right time to do it.
