I disagree with your position that choosing to stay silent is failing. Most people have made up their minds and those that haven't probably don't care what I think anyway. And there are as many on the left spewing the same nonsense as Lara Trump and misbehaving as much as many on the right.

There's nothing wrong with disengaging for the sake of personal serenity. There's nothing wrong with agreeing not to agree.

I cannot stand Trump and his lot but I'm not going to fight with and no longer will judge people who think differently, or others who don't think all that differently but will vote for him because our priorities are different. The way I am not staying silent is I just changed my voter registration from my native NY to PA where my vote can make a difference.
