I don’t know why you would delete your account. Just stop paying if you don’t want to read and engage regularly anymore. You don’t even need to be a paying member to write. Anyway, you should download a zip file of all your stories and comments. You’ll see that option in the profile settings.

If you email the help desk I’m sure they will answer your questions in a day or two or three.
