I happen to like getting the notices when someone claps for a comment and particularly like seeing when a comment has been very well clapped for, as I often leave very substantive comments, not just, "I loved this." You also often leave very substantive comments. Sometimes my comments are story length in themselves and I publish them to my profile and sometimes I share them with my subscribers (as I know you have seen) despite that a comment posted to the profile as a story is not eligible for MPP. It's one way I try to show my appreciation for the work of another, hoping it will lead to one of my subscribers reading that story and perhaps a link of mine they previously missed.

I also like the "also highlighted" notice and sometimes I will then go back and see what that person highlighted and commented and clap for and/or reply to their comment.
