I have much connection to describe to you. Overall, you will enjoy this poem I wrote a couple of years ago. https://medium.com/illumination-curated/oh-so-alone-on-an-island-in-a-sea-of-humanity-191b0674026a

New age spirituality often lacks discernment. I discussed that generally here by quoting Peter Eastman: https://medium.com/illumination-curated/marriage-of-philosophy-and-spirituality-742dc1d639f6

I used discernment to see through the twin flame myth (New Age nonsense). https://medium.com/know-thyself-heal-thyself/my-experiential-based-take-on-the-twin-flame-soulmate-concept-a8553dbf4d25

Discernment is always the key to spiritual decoding. Are you a Hermann Hesse fan? I am. https://medium.com/know-thyself-heal-thyself/your-soul-is-the-whole-world-7a149c7602ad I don't read any gurus. None. Although 11 years ago Neale Donald Walsch's Conversations with God started my journey. "Religion cannot stand Spirituality. It cannot abide it. For Spirituality may bring you to a different conclusion than a particular religion — and this no known religion can tolerate. Religion encourages you to explore the thoughts of others and accept them as your own. Spirituality invites you to toss away the thoughts of others and come up with your own." To me, new age spiritualism is a religion. For two years I railed against the Law of Attraction for its victim shaming aspects and I will continue to rail against the New Age view but I recently realized that it does exist and all it is karma when that word is properly defined, which is not about punishment or reward--just learning. https://medium.com/channspirations/revisiting-karma-and-the-law-of-attraction-997965601b65

"I realized after reading NL’s guides’ thoughts on karma that the law of attraction describes the vibrational pulls of our soul contracts, not what we humans consciously or subconsciously emit."
