I have often said that the spiritual journey is one with many waystations but no destination. Regarding seeking, I love this quote from Hermann Hesse's Siddhartha: “'When someone seeks,' said Siddhartha, 'then it easily happens that his eyes see only the thing that he seeks, and he is able to find nothing, to take in nothing because he always thinks only about the thing he is seeking, because he has one goal, because he is obsessed with his goal. Seeking means: having a goal. But finding means: being free, being open, having no goal.'”

Regarding my subtitle, I was referring to the subset of atheists for whom Atheism is a religion. To me, many but not all atheists do believe in nothing as opposed to other atheists and agnostics who merely don't believe in something and are open minded.

I do not believe I am better than atheists and christians generally (than some, yes) and I'm sorry that was one of your impressions. I'll have to do better next time.
