I like all of your bullet points. I struggled with the last one--that one has a right to feel superior--I struggled because it's very difficult to contain the effects of that belief yet technically yes I cannot disagree but I suspect in life review there would be much time spent on that.
Re the abortion point, this is a place where I feel I have an interesting perspective worth repeating. Completely outside of any religion, I believe that technically abortion is murder yet I also believe no one has the right to interfere in the decision of whether or not to abort. As I type that, I question myself whether the father, assuming the conception was not forced, should have some rights in the decision. Where to draw that line I have not throught about.
I wrote a few essays in the 6 month run up to Dobbs. I felt that under The Constitution, First Amendment protected the right to abort since the anti abortion stance tends to align with certain religions and it is expressly permitted under some and under Judaism and perhaps others, required if the mother's life is in danger.
