I long ago set my emails notifications so I only get emailed mentions, when someone I subscribe to posts, important admin stuff in case the fucktards suspend me, and the daily digests

I kind of like the green bell notifications about comment claps and so-and-so highlighted the same thing--if I know and like them, it often sends me back to see what comments they made
