I love a sardines and peanut butter sandwich on toasted whole wheat or rye, sometimes accented with some Tabasco or cayenne pepper powder, sometimes adding some honey for a little sweetness to cut the spice. The first time I heard of that sandwich was watching reruns of The Odd Couple as a kid--it was one of Oscar Madison's favorites (no mention by him of hot sauce or honey). I never tried it until this year when inexpensive and filling nutrition became necessary for me. When looking for an image many months ago when I wrote something about this, I entered Oscar Madison into the Unsplash search, and discovered that it populated with amazing images of sunsets and other pictures by a photographer named Dave Hoefler.
