I love this piece, Rebecca, as I bet you knew I would, if I entered your mind at any point while you wrote it. I think I've read you write about the closet experience and the message from light before, but you added much this time. I love how the teacher the next year was a vessel, perhaps unwittingly a channel, to show you the importance of ego. We cannot exist on this planet and with other people by dissolving/killling ego as so many fake gurus sell.
