I quite enjoy dining alone. I enjoy it even when I do have people to go out with. I have two sorts of favorite alone meals. One is sushi/sashimi, preferably omakase, with excellent sake. Cold, of course, but not so cold that it dulls the taste. (Same with white wine--people chill the taste out of it) I like full bodied and flavorful sake. Not super dry stuff but not sweet either. Wakatabe is a brand I always enjoy.

I also thourougly enjoy the occasional alone meal when I am not alone. When my pyschic has tethered Lindsey's soul to me and I take us out for a meal, which I always do on her birthday and on our anniversary, and sometimes in between as well. When Anne has channeled her to me, for for about 24 hours she can experience sensual pleasures through my senses.

Sometimes I even tell the server. I can sense when they will be receptive to my goings on or not.
