I read an article the other day that really pissed me off. The author talked about the importance of leaving comments in other's articles, which is something I completely agree with. The problem is if one looks at his numbers, he is a god damn liar. The author claims to comment back to every comment he receives and talks about community building. Here's the math. At the time of his article he had published 1151 stories and 1359 comments. So assuming that each of his stories receives one comment, that means he has only read and commented in about 200 stories of others. By contrast, I have now published 374 stories and this is my 7,000th comment.
