I read Ross' story the other day. I agree that sentencing guidelines are f'd up and I have read great things about Norway's system. As for Ross, life in prison does seem crazy, but I do not believe that he didn't know how his site was being used and thus I cannot say he wasn't responsible for any harm caused by those that dealt on his site.
