I really connected with this poem. Just before reading it, I had a conversation with a dear friend about how positive thought cannot overcome all obstacles and I'm about to write a piece about the BS of toxic positivity which does not much more than sell books and tickets to lectures by ass holes.

On the other hand, I love the stanza about the narcissus flower, which quite apart from narcissism, signifes rebirth.
