I sent a friend link of your poem to my dear friend who is going through her own grief over her cat passing away, who for all intents and purposes was her son, and Pamela replied to me: "Wow. I relate though trying to make sense of a child, or anyone’s suicide, brings a whole other set of feelings. “How do I release what keeps me breathing, the last of you I hold?” - I really get this."

I had shared a link to Pamela's free Substack content on her present experience with grief with you the other day. https://open.substack.com/pub/pamelabusch/p/side-by-side?utm_source=share&utm_medium=android&r=g3frb
