I thought the poem was interesting. Now that I read this, I reread it, identified, and loved it.

“Five lines” is a reference to both the five verses in each stanza, and the lines of cocaine some people nearby were boasting about with regards to a party they attended. The colorful acid in this case is LSD; the drop(s) refer both to the acid and the rain droplets.
