I view coincidence and synchronicity as synonyms. I realize most people view "just a coincidence" as meaning happenstance. In a moment of synchronicity, the house that I rented in Southern NH for six months four years ago had a large, heavy, hard bound dictionary from 1968. One day while contemplating such matters I decided to look up coincidence in that dictionary:

“Noteworthy event, circumstance, or series of such, which occurs in conjunction, or synchronously, with others, and is of such a character as to suggest a connection of cause and effect, although apparently no connection of the kind exists.”

Anyway, thank you for sharing your story with C&C, William, and have an especially happy day on your birthday on Monday. It's also my dear friend Amie's birthday.
