I vote for 1, though a vicarious 8 is up there. I recently told my now 15 and a half year old son this story: "My son's bris--2005. My speech was I chose one trait of each member of the entire mishpucha [extended family] that I wished for him [not an easy task]. Totally dead pan. Not a hint of emotion. Then 'and for me Alex, (tear floodgates open), I wish you do not have to wait 36 years, 32 years or 19 years for another Jets, Knicks or Mets Championship.' It's now 51, 47 and 34 ..."
