I wager you'll welcome them even if they neglect the "I love you"

… my kids have become routine, and I’ve gotten used to them. They are going off to live their lives. I’m sure they will return periodically to abuse my washing machine or rummage through my fridge, and I’ll continue to welcome them, as long as they tell me they love me once in a while.
