I was not disrespectful. I believe in a benevolent and unconditionally loving God as much as you do. I expressed my reasoned opinion about dogma that I disagree with. Bad things do not happen to good people because humans are born sinners. In my opinion, humans are born divinely innocent, and bad things happen to good people because our souls agreed to be tested in certain ways before each incarnation. My having a different opinion of how the universe works is not disrespectful. I didn’t call anyone names or otherwise insult anyone. Your post boils down to anyone that doesn’t buy into Catholic dogma, which includes many Catholics, is disrespectful, which disrespects anyone’s right to have a different opinion. You are a gaslighter. Moreover, as I just read your post again, I did not question immaculate conception or the divinity of Jesus or Mary in my post. You put words in my mouth. I have the utmost respect for both of those souls.
