I'd be interested in your thoughts on the application of the word "genocide" to Israel's actions in Gaza. I think it's misused in that context--you may disagree, and that's fine, if you do, I'd be interested in your reasoning. To me, using the word genocide with respect to Israeli actions in Gaza creates a false moral/evil equivalency. Call it mass murder if you want. Charge war crimes where applicable. But don't give in and call it genocide, which is what Hamas, whose charter actually calls for genocide against Jews, wants, and who is sacrificing the citizens of Gaza for their own agenda.

Benjamin Sledge said it best the other day. Just call it war. https://medium.com/the-panopticon-publication/the-israel-gaza-conflict-isnt-genocide-it-s-war-bc270354a3fd

Another topic I've written on that I'd be interested in seeing your views (other than tattoos 😊) is criminal justice systems. I touched on it in your pub 5 months ago with my post, https://medium.com/original-philosophy/an-eye-for-an-eye-38c4c5616c95, subtitled Does retributive justice benefit society and individuals, or does it harm both?

I understand that every pub owner has their own style and time management issues, but I was disappointed that you didn't engage with the essay. I was also disappointed that you didn't nominate it particularly because another pub owner/nominator privately volunteered after reading it that he would have nominated it from his pub.
