Anyway, I've noticed recently that I'm developing an uncomfortableness with killing pests (symptom of spiritual awakening?). I felt icky the otherday when I took a weed whacker to the nature run amok at my friend's house where I am living (which i did because he asked me to), and I have refused to kill any spotted lantern flies, which are the invasive pest de jour in the northeast USA. Vacuuming up live stink bugs hasn't bothered me though. Maybe it's because they are so darn ugly and the spotted lantern flies are so pretty.
