The first time I remember seeing this sentiment was in https://ladyreverie.medium.com/does-science-preclude-spirituality-269e5e50b345 wherein the author wrote "The way I see it, the quest for science and the quest for spirituality are the same quest. The quest for truth." With that in mind and responding to two poetry prompts ("Wisdom is loving the whole" and "A path that marries science and spirituality") with one tanka a couple of years ago, I wrote:

"Wise ask right questions

Wise alchemize the answers

Wise see many truths

Emotional foundations

Balance and support structures"
