I'm not surprised by this at all. I actually figured the complaints were from members of his own "race" (in quotes to note that there is only the human race--the other breakdowns are a construct) who for whatever reasons feel that "race" should stay with "race." I understand their feelings but also know it only propagates separation not to see every person simply as a human, and I agree with all the commenters that said that sharing their feelings as attacks/hating is inappropriate.

I generally do not engage on social media so I would not have been aware of this without your article. I do wonder what percentage of the comments were of the ilk you note.

On a side note, unless those Instagram photos stated that the poster gives everyone the right to download and use in their articles, article writers do not have the right to do so. I know it is done all the time, but it is not legal, even via screenshot capture. If Bronny or Peyton would choose to complain to Medium, their complaint would be upheld and your account would be in jeopardy. They might give you 24 hours to remove each and every unauthorized photo from each and every one of your stories and failing to so cure, you might lose your account.
