Interesting! I see them now but no, not intended. I love love love Fleetwood Mac and I'm pretty sure I did reference Songbird or have it in mind in another poem, I'll look in a moment. Here songbird was a refernce to Blackbird. Yellow brick was a general reference with The Wizard of Oz in the back of my mind, but yes, I love Sir Elton too.
