Interesting points but to what end I'm not sure as the system of ownership that has evolved is not going away. To me, the issue with what we call capitalism under the banner of Adam Smith's Wealth of Nations, is not what we have. Notice the book is called Wealth of Nations, not wealth of individual citizens. Smith believed that the profits needed for innovation would reduce over time in favor of wages, thus distributing wealth throughout a nation. Moreover, the free markets he envisioned do not exist. The markets are all rigged in favor of whomever pays the lobbyists to write the laws.
