Israel is not an apartheid state, that is a false binary, and Israel doesn't take hostages for negotiation purposes-- that is a false equivalency. Whether this helps or dismantles Netanyahu's collation remains to be seen. It could easily topple the govt due to the unpreparedness that likely resulted from the internal turmoil of the misguided far right policies. The geopolitics involved are highly complex. Iran proxies involvement indicates they hope to derail Saudi recognition of Israel and a US defense agreement with the Saudis. In any event, these are discussions I hoped to avoid at this point.
