It pains me to see writers post daily: "curated in [who gives a shit] like it means anything. Then they keep writing whatever got them out of curation jail / into favor with machines. I understand the beginning writer's excitement. I would have been excited a few months ago. Now I see behind the curtain and decide to trust that my words are being read by those that need to read them. I am shocked by how many experienced and talented writers fall for Medium's fool's golden-ticket bone throwing extravaganza.
