It seems that every day I am seeing and reporting at least one fake account. Usually I report and move on. The other day I replied asking them what they get out of this activity. No reply.

Instead of playing whack-a-mole, I don't understand why Medium doesn't implement simple security measures to stop the creation of fake accounts, like not allowing someone to use both the same name and image as an existing account.
