It's a spectrum. I have taken several Meyers Briggs tests online over the last few years and always the result is INTP, the I being for introvert, but the percentage is usually closer to 50 than 100. I have also taken Big 5 tests favored by psychologists, and that result is extrovert. My explanation is I am a not shy introvert. Too often introvert and shy are considered synonyms, and they are not.
